He is a lawyer who graduated from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina, where he also completed postgraduate studies in Criminal Law.

He has extensive experience within Argentina’s federal criminal justice system. Between 1993 and 2005, he served at Federal Criminal and Correctional Courts Nos. 3 and 4 in Buenos Aires, holding positions including Pro-Secretary and Acting Secretary. This experience provided him with a strong background in criminal procedure, judicial investigations, and the functioning of federal criminal institutions.

He subsequently served as legal counsel in criminal matters for the Central Bank of Argentina and worked at the Federal Administration of Public Revenues (AFIP) in the field of criminal tax law. He also served as Special Adviser to the Presidency of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF/GAFI), further developing his expertise in financial crime, anti-money laundering frameworks, and institutional integrity.

His public-sector experience also includes advisory roles before the Argentine National Congress, the Central Bank of Argentina, and other public institutions. Across these positions, his work has focused on criminal law, financial regulation, transparency, and the strengthening of institutional accountability.

Alongside his professional practice, he has developed an extensive academic career. He has taught Criminal Procedural Law at Universidad del Salvador, Criminal Law at the Instituto Superior de la Policía Federal, and courses at the University of Buenos Aires and UCEMA. Since 2018, he has taught Criminal Law and Criminal Procedural Law at UCEMA.

He has also participated in and organized seminars and postgraduate programs addressing transparency, corruption, good governance, and economic crime, including academic activities in Spain and Italy.

He is a member of several professional and institutional organizations, including the Justice Committee of the Buenos Aires Bar Association, the Coalition for Judicial Independence, the Federal Bar Association, and the Bar Association of the Province of Buenos Aires.
