ZBV Abogados constitutes Trust for theatre productions
Zang, Bergel & Viñes Abogados advised Argentinean producer company Traspunte in the constitution of the first administration trust focused on theatre productions.
Traspunte, headed by renowned Argentinean theatre producer Fabián Stratas, has successfully attracted an important number of individual and institutional investors to constitute this trust, the first one of its kind in the Argentine market.
As success of theatre production is difficult to guarantee, which makes the investment risky, the trustee agrees to produce plays that have previously been a box office blockbuster in the most important theatre districts worldwide (West End, Broadway, Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, Mexico City, among others). Also, he agrees the plays will have a small but frontline cast and crew, and be approved by an artistic committee formed by renowned artists.
Moreover, the trustee commits to the highest standard of professionalism in the day-to-day management of all administrative, financial and legal matters, with the objective of minimizing possible fluctuations in profitability throughout the duration of the trust (10 years).
The first play should open during the second semester of 2012.
