ZBV Abogados Helps IRSA sell stock in Hersha Hospitality Trust
Zang, Bergel & Vi帽es Abogados advised Argentine real estate company IRSA in the sale, closing and settlement of a block trade transaction in which Citibank acquired an aggregate of 2,000,000 shares of common stock of Hersha Hospitality Trust 鈥揳 company controlled by IRSA and listed on the New York Stock Exchange--, in a block trade pursuant to Rule 144 under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, for an aggregate amount of US$10 million.
ZBV Abogados acted as legal counsel to IRSA through partner Pablo Vergara del Carril and associate Pablo Schreiber. The firm was responsible for the due diligence process and the customary transactions documents.
Hunton Williams acted as legal counsel to Hersha Hospitality Trust, through partner James Seevers and associate David Freed.
Citibank was represented by in-house counsel Seth Weinstein.
