ZBV Abogados advises Banco Hipotecario in debt isssuance
(Buenos Aires, April 26 2013) -- Zang, Bergel & Vi帽es Abogados advised Banco Hipotecario in the issuance of Series 8 and Series 9 notes, issued under the Bank麓s Global Note Program for up to the sum of US$ 500 million (or its equivalent in Argentine pesos).
On April 24th, 2013, the Bank successfully completed the placement and issuance of the two series for a global amount of 300 million Argentine pesos.
Series 8 has a maturity of 360 days from its issue date, with a face value of 41,003,000 Argentine pesos, at an issue price of 100% of the face value; issued at a fixed rate of 18,50%, payable on a quarterly basis.
Series 9 has a maturity of 21 months from its issue date, and was issued at a nominal value of AR$ 258,997,000 at an issue price of 100% of the face value, issued at a Private Badlar Rate (Tasa Badlar Privada) plus 280 bps per annum, payable on a quarterly basis.
The offering was directed to the domestic market, and therefore the notes will be listed in the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange and admitted for trading on the Mercado Abierto Electr贸nico S.A., the Argentine over-the-counter market.
BACS Banco de Cr茅dito y Securitizaci贸n, Banco Hipotecario, Banco de Galicia y Buenos Aires, and Banco de Servicios y Transacciones acted as underwriters of the placement.
Zang, Bergel & Vi帽es Abogados acted as deal counsel through partner Carolina Zang, and associate Pablo Nisim Schreiber.
